When in the Philippines, there are two stores you are most likely to bump into me. One would be in National Bookstore and the other would be in Watsons. While I was living in Singapore, I found myself frequently visiting Watsons drugstore because it’s conveniently located where I live.
Since I am back in the Philippines, until further notice, I decided to show what I recently purchased and what you will most likely find at Watsons drugstores.
When I said I wouldn’t be purchasing anymore of the Revlon lip butters, well, I don’t know what I was saying. I just could not help myself. This time I bought the Revlon Lip Butter lipstick in Raspberry Pie #010. It is still as moisturizing as I remember my very first lip butter from Revlon. I got another tube from Revlon because they were already on sale. I also bought the Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil & Gel in 106 Dark Brown. The Watsons store I went to did not have any other color of the Revlon brow pencil. I wanted a black pencil but I risked it anyway since I already have the Revlon eyeliner pencil in black.
This might seem weird but I’m more excited about the Watsons own brand of round thread dental flosses. Each box contains 50 pieces of dental floss and they were selling 3 boxes together for Php79. Yehey! I love deals like that. I’m also surprised that Isopropyl Alcohol comes in spray bottles now.
I got the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom Color Changing Lip Balm in Pink Blossom. It’s so cute and very affordable for Php99.00 only. If you open the tube, you’ll immediately see a white formula lipstick that looks like petroleum jelly. When applied on the lips, it immediately changes color to pink. It gives the lips that “was-eating-strawberry-flavored-popsicle” look. Plus, it’s very moisturizing just like what a lip balm should be.
I’m also trying out the Pond’s White Beauty Detox Spotless White Cream. I’m trying to get rid of the dark spot and acne mark visible from a recent pimple. I like that Pond’s are selling sample sizes of their products. This way, I can test out the products first to see if I’m allergic or not.
I get really excited when shopping around Watsons. What are your latest finds?
