Travel Photography and Blogging With Canon

I bought my very first camera because I was going away on a trip for two weeks. The first camera I own was a Canon IXUS 70 digital camera.

When I left the company I worked for many years, I bought my very first DSLR camera as a souvenir. I was very happy with my compact camera that I decided to stay with the same brand. My first DSLR camera is a Canon 450D.

My memorable photos are the one’s I took while I was living in Singapore as a Bancassurance Representative.

Take Some Time Off

I love every thing that is related to social media. There was this contest online with a Singaporean Publishing house and they were giving away three, if I’m not mistaken, Canon IXUS 1000 to three winners. Fortunately, I won that camera! My second digital camera was free and it was the Canon IXUS 1000 in Pink!

My favorite photos from this camera was the one in Singapore’s Botanical Gardens and from my road trip from Singapore to Malaysia.

This year I was looking for a new digital camera with a good video capability. I asked my sister to buy me the Canon IXUS 530HS in the US because it was a lot affordable there. I wanted to get the camera in white and I was pretty sure the color was not available where I’m from.

This camera is very useful for video making. It is also my go to camera for blogging.

I no longer have the Canon IXUS 70 and IXUS 1000. I still have the Canon 450D with the lens kit and a 50mm lens. I want to upgrade into a Canon 60D camera but it’s just not practical these days.

What’s your dream camera? Let me know in the comments below.
